Paul A. Webel

Paul worked for three decades as a Vice President for General Reinsurance Corporation. In his later years he worked for various companies including Xerox as an IT consultant. He loved working, golfing and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and his beloved pug Henry.

Paul is survived by his wife of 42 years, Eileen, and his three daughters and son in laws -- Kaitlin and Stephen Corbo of Monroe Connecticut, Julie and Robert Hines of Wilton Connecticut and Caroline Webel and Kaushik Visvanathan of Brooklyn New York. Paul was also the proud "Poppa" to his 3 grandchildren -- Mackenzie and Liam Corbo and Robbie Hines.

The family is so thankful for all of the love and support received from family and friends. Paul received the very best of care from the exceptional 11 Tower staff at Danbury Hospital as well as the compassionate caregivers at Regional Hospice Center.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation Thursday, April 9, 4 - 8pm at Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Friday, April 10 beginning at 10:30, at St Jude Parish, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. Interment to immediate follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull.
