Robert W. Moretti, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19th at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT with his family by his side. He was a family man and a people person and loved by all who knew him. He served his country as a communications officer in the navy during the Korean Conflict and was a graduate of Iona University. He worked in Human Resources for IBM (21 yrs) as well as Cigna (7 yrs). His best days were spent with Patricia, his wife of 56 years. He leaves behind 3 children (Nancy, Robert and Christopher), a daughter in-law (Annemarie), 6 grandchildren (Tracy, Lorin, Robert, Ryan, Brendan and Sean), and 2 great-grandchildren (Avery and Brayden). A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, September 24th at 11:00 am at St. Jude’s Parish, 707 Monroe Tpke, Monroe, CT.
