

D’AIUTO- Rosaria D’Aiuto, age 80, entered into eternal peace on January 20, 2011 surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home. She was born in Alberona, Italy and resided in Monroe, CT. She was a kind and committed wife, mother and grandmother, deeply devoted to her family with whom she found her greatest joy. Rosa is survived by Michele D’Aiuto, her husband of 50 years, and their eight children, Franca Kurzela and her husband Mark of Monroe; Vito D’Aiuto and his fiancé Cindy of Torrington; Anna D’Aiuto of Monroe; Rita Maggi and her husband Brian of Shelton; Evana D’Aiuto-DiNuzzo of Shelton; Sandra D’Aiuto of Milford; Michele Cifatte and her husband Gary of Trumbull; and Vincent D’Aiuto of Monroe; one nephew and three nieces. She is also survived by her grandchildren whom she cherished and were a significant part of her life: Mark, Brandon and Shana Kurzela; Ian, Daria and Gabriella Maggi; Julianna, Michael and Gina Cifatte; She was predeceased by her parents Francesco and Gioviana (Venditti) Panzano, her brother Ascanio Panzano and her son-in-law, James DiNuzzo. She will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be held from 3pm to 7pm on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. A Christian Mass will take place on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 10 am. Guests are requested to go directly to St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church, 6948 Main Street in Trumbull. Entombment will immediately follow at the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in Trumbull.
