Suzanne Marguerite Waiwat, 84, of Easton, passed away on August 17th at the Ludlowe Center for Health and Rehabilitation after battling a prolonged illness. Mrs. Waiwat was born on April 23rd, 1928 in Florida and had resided in Easton since her marriage to the late Edward Dunn Waiwat in 1965. A former singer and actress, Mrs. Waiwat enjoyed drawing, painting, and playing the piano. She had also been an avid roller-skater, water-skier, horseback-rider and airplane pilot. She is survived by her daughter, Marina Lynn Waiwat, of Easton, and her beloved “grand-doggies,” Bliss and Zion. She is also survived by her sister, Juliette Senese, of Fairfield; her brother, Henri Mahieu, of Florida; and her two sisters-in-law, Mary Mahieu and Betty Mahieu, both of Milford.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 23rd, 2012 from 10-11:30 am at The Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT, followed by a 12pm graveside service at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 1530 Bronson Road, Fairfield, CT.
