Born in Greenwich, CT on September 1, 1930, Bill was a foreman at Bridgeport Hydraulic Company where he retired after 20 years. Afterwards Bill worked for Moore and McCormick Shipping in Stamford until he opened his own Limousine Service.
In addition to his former wife, he is survived by his five children, William Norling Jr. and his wife Carol, Richard Norling and his wife Donna, Betsie Gutcheon and her husband Bradley, Kenneth Norling and his wife Mary and Kevin Norling, 9 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by two children, Mary Jane Norling and Robert Norling.
The family would like to thank St. Joseph’s Manor and their staff as well as Attorney Sefton Brown for the care and loving compassion provided in his last years.
