Helen Lockhart
May 19, 1925 – May 25, 2015
Helen P. Lockhart, age 90, of Monroe, passed away on May 25, 2015. She was born on May 19, 1925 in Union County to the late Martin Pressley and Pearl Robinson.
Helen always put others before herself and loved her family deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dwight Lockhart; her son, Jerry E. Rowell and grandson Greg Rowell.
She is survived by four children, Linda Broughton, Geraldine Wilson, David Rowell (Diane) and Bill Rowell (Terri); two step-children, Wandra Wade (Rob) and Baxter Lockhart (Karen); fifteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015 at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe with a graveside service to immediately follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
