Adam was a kind soul who touched many lives.
He was an individual to the extreme, always quirky in his actions and mannerisms. He was sweet and funny and quick to give a compliment. He was an athlete. He wrestled for Sultan High School, making it to the State finals all four years. He was voted most inspirational by his fellow track runners. Adam participated in the Spokane Blooms day race for several years. He also played soccer, baseball and basketball. In his adult life he became an avid golfer, pool player, poker player and still loved riding his BMX bike. His first love was music. He was a self taught guitarist. His music was beautiful. Adam had a need to help others. He never judged anyone and would give a stranger his last dollar or the shirt off his back. Adam worked as a caregiver the last five years or so, taking care for his Grandfather Vern Chittick until he passed away a few years ago. Vern loved to listen to Adam play his guitar. Adam thought the music soothed Vern’s pain. The last two years Adam provided care to Ron Williams as well as performed grounds keeping services for Blue West Golf Course. Sharon Williams and her brother Ron were like family to Adam; his passing will leave a huge void in their lives.
It would take me days to tell you who Adam truly was and even longer to mention all the people who loved him. He touched many hearts.
Adam leaves behind his Great Grandmother Florence McDaniel, Grandparents LaVonna Chittick, Curt and Darlene McDaniel, Dick Colliers, Tim and Joy Badertscher, Larry and Linda Butterfield. Father Rick Colliers, Mother and Stepfather Tracy and Tim Butterfield, Brothers Richard and Aaron Colliers, Sister Heidi Colliers and Brother-in-law Keith Wilks. He also leaves numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews that will miss him terribly. I would also like to mention the Foss family because Adam was as much a part of their family as ours. I appreciate them so much and our hearts go out to them.
