Candy was a dear friend and mentor for me. She helped me through a complex and deeply dark time in my life.  She always had a smile and a hug for me no matter what odd time or place we crossed paths. Kindness and truth telling were gifts she offered me when I really needed them.
She is sorely missed but I am glad she is safely Home.

Candace is family to me. She was there as a mom in the hardest time of my life. I will never forget the warm caring loving embrace she gave me during the absolute most difficult day of my life when I lost my son. Her smile and sparkly eyes lit up the room. She is dearly missed, and forever in my heart. Her love for the Lord is admirable. Looking forward to the day when we will see each other again in paradise. God bless the Tapert family, I pray for peace and comfort through this difficult time. And I pray that through our hardships we draw closer to God. Love you all very much.
