has gone to rest with his true love Debbie in heaven, Papa Chuck passed away on March 18th 2013, in this home.
Dad grew up in Seattle, WA. and attended Ingraham High School where he met our mother Debbie Floren. After graduation he went to technical school where he studied welding. He retired from Everett Engineering where he was a fabricator, engineer, artist and shop extra ordinaire. Ask any of the guys there and they will tell you what a great guy dad was. Fun, funny, laid back and could get anything done. We are proud of the many art pieces around the N.W. that he designed.
Dad lived his life simple and always for his family, especially his grand kids! He could joke and prank, spoil and laugh with them and he had such pride in every single one. He leaves behind Cierra, Chloe, Paige, Brock, Kenzie, Kayla, Shawn, Elle, Zophia, Jackson, Alex and Connor. He loved them immensely.
Besides his family and his adoring cats dad loved...trips in his RV especially if it included a stop at the casino, floating the river in the summer, whoopie cushions and fart machines, anything for a good laugh or a nice big smile. Popcorn and root beer floats, a nice bonfire, antique car shows, swap meets and a good garage sale.
Dad loved making deals at Boom City, being a world traveler and loved the neighborhood dogs who visited pretty much daily.
After retirement due to his first stroke, dad was a new man. Working like a busy bee around the property, building, cleaning, decorating and enjoying his second chance at life.
Dad left us suddenly and life is now forever changed. While we're here, we feel him near and know our reunion someday, will be like no time has even passed.
Dad was proceeded in death by his wife Debra Lee Burgy and survived by daughters Marcie and husband Darrell Rice, Chandra Zink, Sarah and husband David Anderson, Lotus and husband Shawn Hedin, Mother Frances, Sisters Judy and Janice, all the grand kids plus nieces and nephews Holly, Eddy, Heather, and Christopher.
