Charline Beverly Rundle passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, at Regents Care Center in Monroe, Washington. She was born on July 24, 1929, in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Seattle, where she graduated from Lincoln High School.
On May 6, 1949, Charline married the love of her life, Herbert Rundle. They were blessed to share 66 wonderful years together before Herb’s passing.
A lifelong hard worker in the dental industry and a gifted seamstress, Charline began her career sewing linings into fur coats. She shared her talents generously, creating “works of art” for her children and grandchildren, including hand-knitted Christmas stockings delivered on Christmas Eve. She also donated clothing, quilts, and bears for children to Project Linus and Shriners Hospital, sewed masks during the pandemic, and volunteered with the Cancer Society Discovery Shop. She served on the Election Canvassing Board and was a member and past president of the Terra Tillers Garden Club of Bellevue.
After retiring, Charline devoted herself to helping care for her grandchildren until they began school, cherishing every moment of that time together.
Charline is survived by her sons: Thomas (Susan) of Lacey, Washington; Steven (Debbie) of Conyers, Georgia; and Kenneth (Pamela) of Monroe, Washington. She is also survived by six grandchildren - Sara; Jason (Renee); Matthew (Jana); Tyler (Michelle); Rebecca Vincent (Andrew); and Bailey Li (Kevin) - and six great-grandchildren: Alexander, Logan, Lilly, Charlotte, Elizabeth, and Benjamin. She is further survived by her sister, Fran Dillan (Al) of Bremerton, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herbert; her granddaughter, Kelsey Jo; and her parents, Frank and Dymples Wedel.
Charline will be deeply missed for her many contributions, her love of family, giving back to other’s and her sense of humor, which remained intact until her final days.
