David Allan Moore passed on July 9, 2026, at the age of 79. Born June 28, 1947 in Woonsocket, RI, David lived in Monroe, Washington. He is survived by his daughter Amy Wader, son Allan C. Moore, grandchildren Makayla E. Wader, Garrett J. Wader and Madison B. Moore. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandi M. Moore, in 2021. There will be a Celebration of Life for family and friends on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 2PM at the American Legion Hall, 21910 Hwy 9, Woodinville, WA 98072.

Sunset and evening star
and one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
when I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out
the boundless deep
turns again home.
Twilight and evening bell,
and after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell,
when I embark;
For tho' from out our bourne
of time and place
the flood may bear me far,
I hope to see my Pilot face to face
when I have crossed the bar.
