Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Donna’s life was marked by adventure, curiosity, and a profound reverence for the natural world. In her fourth and fifth decades, she journeyed north to live near the Arctic Circle, spending formative years in Nome and Dillingham, Alaska—places that shaped her spirit and deepened her connection to the earth and its rhythms.
Donna married John W. Graham Jr. in 1960, and although the marriage later ended, together they raised two children who were the center of her universe: Thea Graham of Washington, D.C., and David Graham of Washington state. She is also survived by her siblings, Marion Kay Darr of Washington and Keith Campbell of Indiana, who will remember her for her loyalty, her fierce independence, and her unique way of seeing the world.
Professionally, Donna worked as a dental assistant, a role in which she brought patience, steadiness, and genuine care for others. But her life’s work extended far beyond her career. Donna was a lifelong spiritual seeker—drawn to the white light, inner healing, and the mysteries of the unseen. She was known to many as “Doctor Mom,” always ready with natural remedies, castor oil applications, and organic food guidance long before holistic living entered the mainstream.
Her values were guided by purity, simplicity, and an abiding belief in the power of nature. Whether she was sharing advice on nutrition, encouraging others to embrace organic living, or offering gentle spiritual insights, Donna touched the lives of those around her with an authenticity that was entirely her own.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Purdy & Kerr Funeral Home in Monroe, Washington.
Donna’s family invites all who knew her to remember her not only with sadness, but with gratitude for the wisdom she shared, the unconventional path she walked, and the quiet but steady love she offered throughout her life.
May she continue her journey in peace and light.
