

Evelyn was born on May 25, 1914 to Janet and John Kearney in Minneapolis,MN.
The family moved to Aberdeen, WA where Evelyn enjoyed performing Scottish dance routines, winning dance
competitions in the Aberdeen area.
She graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1932, and worked as a secretary prior to meeting Staff Sgt. Jack Frankhouser during WWII. They were wed in 1945 and raised four daughters in Monroe and Edmonds.
She is predeceased by her husband Jack, and brothers Peter and Jack Kearney.
Evelyn is survived by her loving daughters Janet Johnson and Evelyn Gayle Foster of Monroe, and Sharon Sanderson and
Susan Hussein of Bothell, as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-children, great grand-children and one great-great granddaughter, all of whom she loved dearly.
A memorial mass will be said at St. Mary of the Valley Catholic Church,
601 West Columbia, Monroe, WA on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 11a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Evelyn’s name to Evergreen Hospice Services,
