I am so sorry to hear of Irene's passing.I remember her as a great wife, mother, grand mother , great grand mother and neighbor and special friend. We had many chats over coffee, sharing all the accomplishments of our children.Do you have any idea how proud she was of you? We talked of our gardens and flowers. Irene loved her flowers and received many ribbons at the Monroe Fair. My prayers for the family and friends, are  God will continue to bring them much Love, Joy, Peace and Contentment in their memories of Irene and all she was to you and the community. I grew up across the street from Bob and Irene and have many great memories.  I remember the pond in back of the house, the "critters", and having to fix the divit's left from our horses getting out. They would always make a foray through your yard before we could get them back home again. Bob and Irene were great neighbors and always watched out for us.    Sorry to read of your Mother's passing. I don't know if my parents  kept in touch after they retired. Dad passed away in '94 and Mom in '96, and my sister died in '05. I lost a lot of family news after that. Please accept my condolences.
