

He was predeceased by the love of his life, Lynn Carson and his son Michael Lawrence.
He is survived in death by his three children Terri Lynnette, Laura K. and Steven Kelly.
He is also survived by three grandchildren, Todd O’Dell, Jacquelin Smith, and Jason Smith,
as well as 2 great granddaughters.
Jack D. is a veteran of WWII serving his duty with the United States Navy. After serving with the Navy, he went on to coach High School football and teach for 36 years. It was here that he earned the nick name “Coach”. Following his teaching career he retired with his wife in the quiet town of Peel, near
Bull Shoals Lake, Arkansas. Many memories and beloved friends were made at the Hwy 125 Marina and Boat dock where he loved to fish. In 1999 Jack and Lynn settled, into Monroe, WA where they could be near family. Jack made many friends and touched many lives here, he will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 14th at 1:00pm,
at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Boys and Girls Club of America.
