James D. Traylor, born March 9, 1936 in Freestone County, TX, departed this life on June 30, 2016 at home surrounded by his family in Monroe, WA. He was 80. He is survived by his loving wife, Lola, children David Dobbins (Marie) of Santa Cruz, CA, Betina Diershaw of Fort Worth, TX, Jimmy Roberts of Skagway, AK, Dennis Traylor (Kimberly) of Anchorage, AK, and Darryl Traylor (Dianna) of Duvall, WA, sister Donna Harley, 11 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. James proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He later worked for many years as a power lineman. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2pm at Purdy & Kerr with Dawson Funeral Home, 409 W. Main St., Monroe, WA 98272, 360-794-7049. A memorial reception will follow at the home of Darryl and Dianna Traylor.
