Judith “Stacy” Lee Labish (née Hager), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 29th, 2026, at the age of 79. She was born in Auburn, WA on January 9th, 1947, to Edward and Helen Haggar, who preceded her in death.
Stacy shared more than forty years of marriage, ranching, and partnership with her husband, Jerry Labish. Together they built a life rooted in hard work, community, and generosity. For more than three decades, she was involved with the Snohomish County Cattlemen’s Association and was a familiar and welcoming presence in the Beef Barn at the Evergreen State Fair, both before and after her Parkinson’s diagnosis.
Stacy and Jerry were passionate supporters of youth agriculture, encouraging and uplifting young people involved in 4-H, FFA, and the Evergreen Youth Livestock Show. Her kindness and steady encouragement left a lasting impact on countless families.
At the same time she was raising a family and supporting the ranch, Stacy worked for many years as both a hairdresser and a florist. Whether behind her salon chair or arranging flowers at the Monroe Safeway, her warmth, creativity, and genuine care for people made her a bright spot in every interaction.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Labish; her children: Steve Labish (Karen) and his children Stephen and Kylie, and grandchildren Elena and Benton; Natalie Seal (Damon) and her children Russell and Riley, and grandson Rowan; Neil Hackmann (Melissa) and their sons Jake and Beau; Jesse Hackmann (Brandi) and their children Kaydence and Landon. She is also survived by her brother, Tom Hopper (Connie), along with many extended family members and dear friends.
Stacy will be remembered for her strength, her generosity, her unwavering support of family and community, and the joy she brought wherever she went.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28th, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Crosswater Community Church in Sultan (202 Birch St, Sultan, WA 98294).
