

Born in Spokane, Washington, Malinda spent a majority of her life in the greater Seattle area, where she built lasting friendships and created countless cherished memories with those she loved.
Malinda lived a life marked by love, compassion, and quiet strength. She had a deep appreciation for the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and found her greatest joy outdoors. She loved berry picking, fishing, kayaking, and searching for rocks and treasures along local rivers and beaches. Whether exploring nature or simply enjoying a peaceful day outside, she was always happiest surrounded by the places she loved.
At home, Malinda had a true green thumb and took great pride in landscaping and gardening, creating beautiful spaces wherever she lived. She also expressed her creativity through arts and crafts, especially wood burning. She was always ready for an adventure, whether it was discovering a new favorite fishing spot, taking a scenic drive, or spending time with family and friends. Her adventurous spirit, generous heart, and warm smile will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Malinda was preceded in death by her father, Gary Stolz Sr., and her stepfather, Daniel Walker.
She is lovingly survived by her mother, Bonnie Peterson; her stepmother, Sherry Stolz; her brother, Gary Stolz Jr.; her sister-in-law, Terri Stolz; her daughter, Monica Gibson; her grandchildren, Hunter Gibson and Shelby Gibson; her niece, Tonya Blaney; her nephew, Tony Pease; and her great-niece, Natallie Spongebob Blaney. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Though deeply missed, Malinda's love of nature, creativity, adventurous spirit, and unwavering love for her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her memory will continue to inspire those she leaves behind to appreciate the simple joys of life, embrace new adventures, and treasure every moment with the people they love. May she rest in peace.
