Dear Mom,

I hope that we did all that we could for you while you were with us. We did it our of love for all that you were and still are. You were the best mother a person could have. I met God through you when I was just a small child. All that I hope I am, I owe solely to you and God. Rest in peace until we meet again. Say hi to all our loved ones.

Mary, you certainly were blessed in that!

Bob - now Mary...Shelby and I miss you both very much.

I smile thinking of that last dinner in Monroe and the young gentleman who was our server who took a bit of extra time to make certain you were comfortable. "Gonna take you home with me" you said to him. A bit of mischief right until the end.

As it should be...
