Pamela Sue Martinson, 48, of Lynnwood, Wash., passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2016. She was born to Robert and Carolyn Martinson on March 13, 1968, in Davenport, Iowa. She moved with her family to Washington State in 1969, spending most of her school years in Everett. She leaves behind her father, Robert and stepmom, Eadye Martinson; her beloved daughters, Alicia and Alexis Martinson; sister, Karen Koehler; brother, David Martinson; (step) grandmother Oreta Johnson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Hughes; grandparents, Lester O. and Julia Thoensen; Robert and Edna Martinson; and (step) grandpa, Alve Johnson; and several aunts and uncles. There will be a viewing on April 30, 2016, 11:00 a.m. to noon, at Purdy and Kerr with Dawson Funeral Home, at 409 W. Monroe, followed by a graveside service at the IOOF Cemetery in Monroe, WA. Following the graveside service, there will be a hosted reception at the funeral home.
