Robert E. Hazelbrook Sr., 97, passed away on June 27, 2016. Bob was preceded in death by Irene, his wife of 73 years, and daughter, Donna. He is survived by his son, Robert Jr. (Sandie) and grandsons, Robert III and Matthew, and many nieces and nephews. Bob was born in Glendive, Montana, but grew up in Seattle and graduated from Roosevelt High School. He served in the Navy during World War II and retired from the Seattle Fire Department as a Lt. in 1969. After retirement Bob and Irene moved to a farm in Sultan, WA where they lived the outdoor life and participated in community activities. He was a member of the Evergreen State Fair Board, Sultan School District Board, Fern Bluff Grange Master, and VFW Post #2554 Chaplain. Bob enjoyed entertaining with his harmonica and fine singing voice. Remembrances may be made to Seattle Medic One. Memorial Service will be held July 30, 11 AM, at the Sultan Cemetery.
