August 14, 1948 – June 28, 2025
On June 28, 2025, we lost an incredible man. Ronald Peter Hanseth—lovingly known as Ronnie—was a devoted husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend. His warmth, laughter, and love left a mark on everyone who knew him.
Born August 14, 1948, Ronnie graduated from Ballard High School (Class of 1967) and later Western Washington University (Class of 1972). He was a man of many talents and deep character. Whether it was at Pay-N-Pak, Eagle Hardware, or Lowe’s in Monroe, Ronnie brought kindness, humor, and dedication to every role—leaving behind not just coworkers, but lifelong friends.
He loved fishing, playing pool (he was a pool shark!), flying model airplanes, and spending time with his family. Ronnie was a brilliant chess player—nearly unbeatable—and always full of life and laughter. His motto was simple and beautiful:
“Love when you should, let go of what you can’t change, love deeply, and forgive quickly.”
He is deeply missed by his loving wife, Linda Hanseth, his daughters Carrie Love (Rick Love) and Heidi Meischke (Marvin Meischke), his 9 grandchildren (and their spouses), and 12 great-grandchildren. Nothing brought him more joy than being surrounded by the people he loved.

We ask that you please do not bring flowers. If you’d like to bring something, we welcome non-fragrant plants. But most of all, just come. Bring your memories, bring your laughter, and bring your stories—especially those from his college pool shark days! Ronnie would want nothing more than a room full of love, laughter, and shared memories.
He touched countless hearts, and his legacy lives on in every one of us. We love you forever, Pop. 💙
