Scotti,  I am glad we were friends inside and out, you made me laugh many times, I hope to meet up with you one day in heaven or where ever life takes us after we leave here, you are and will always be a great person and I will never forget you , HOMIE.

That's "Scotty" bottom left, to the right of his Father and to the left of me, in the picture. This is how we met. Playing soccer together with our friends. I moved away in the 4th grade. But fortunately, we reconnected again back in 2011. However, only briefly. I was surprised to see the man he'd become on the outside, but not surprised by the person he remained on the inside. When we finally realized who the other person was, we got up and hugged each other like brothers. It was as if no time had passed at all. We exchanged "life" stories and took real interest in what happened and who we have become. It was very rewarding to be reacquainted again. But, as life is, we eventually lost touch again. I'm very upset to learn of his untimely death under such tragic circumstances. Although you were not long for this world dear friend, we were better for having known you at all. Rest in peace brother, we will be together again soon enough. My heart goes out to his Father, Mother and the rest of the family. I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. All I have to add is this: "Blessed are those who mourn; for they shall be comforted."

What up homie! I've had a knot in my throat since we heard bro. Tears well in my eyes often as I think of you, and your family. Your life was cut too short, but you lived BIG while you were here, and I know you were here for many reasons, and I know God had to have had a specific assignment that only Scottie could complete cause now he's got you. And you got Him. Enjoy kickin in Heaven & worshiping with all your might! I look forward to the day we see you again, in Heaven! And I'm goin to just say it for you, say that then, and I said it!! Love & respect brother, Love & Respect!

Scott you were a very special friend from the day I met you. :You were always polite when I would see you and always gave me a hug. I will miss seeing you at church on Sundays and when you would stop by the office to say Hi. Rest in Peace my friend , you are free and home with your lord. Prayers for Mom and Dad during this time

RIP Scottie!  You were a good guy with a good heart and I was so glad you were finding a path where you were happy and comfortable.  Lots of memories walking home from the bus and having dinner with your mom and dad.  Thinking of Marv and Lil and knowing how difficult this time is for them.  Rest in paradise friend!
