Valerie Jean Rust, a resident of Sultan, WA departed this life at 81 years old, on September 29th, 2017 in Monroe, WA. Valerie was born on September 28th, 1936 in Wenatchee, WA to George Valeson and Freida Odden.
Valerie is preceded in death by her husband Bill Rust, her son John Jaff Jr. and her brother Tommy Valeson.
Valerie is survived by her daughters; Jacqueline Slechta and Sandy Balentine, her sons; Ronald Slechta, Thomas Slechta and Dale Jaff, her brother, John Valeson, her sisters: Helen Valeson and Mary Ann Wenner. Valerie also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Valerie, slipped away peacefully under the watchful eyes and care of the Staff at Regency Care Center of Monroe.
The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for Valerie during her stay.
Memorial donations may be made in Valerie’s name to the Arlington Boys & Girls Club.
The family will be planning a Private Memorial at a later time.
