Carmen Garcia, age 68, of Duarte, California, passed away on July 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Carmen was a devoted mother whose life was defined by compassion, strength, and an unwavering dedication to her family.

Carmen is survived by her husband, Juan, and her children Johnny, Cindy, Mia, and Patty, each of whom she cared for with profound tenderness. She was blessed with six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. She especially cherished spending time with them - celebrating their milestones, sharing stories, and filling their lives with warmth. Above all, Carmen held a special, unmatched devotion for her son, caring for him with her whole heart and a love that never wavered.

She found happiness in the simple, meaningful things: puzzles, scrapbooking, crossword puzzles, gardening, cooking, baking, and decorating. These hobbies reflected her creativity, patience, and the joy she found in making life beautiful for those around her. Carmen was loving, caring, and always put others before herself, offering comfort and support without hesitation.

Funeral services will be held at Turner & Stevens Live Oak Mortuary,

200 E Duarte Rd, Monrovia, CA 91016.

Wake: Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Burial: Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Carmen will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who loved her.

Visitation will be held at Turner & Stevens-Live Oak Mortuary, 200 E Duarte Road, Monrovia, CA 91016, US, on August 19, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
