

Deborah “Debbie” Marie Walker, 75 years of age, of Covina, California, peacefully passed away after her long battle with Endometrial cancer on January 10, 2024, in her home in Covina surrounded by loved ones.
Debbie was born in Ventura, California to Dorothy Jean Dupuy and Elmer Allen Gregory on July 30, 1948. She went to schools in Ventura and Monrovia, California. She graduated from Monrovia High School in June 1966.
Debbie graduated from nursing school in 1974 and was an LVN for over 16 years. She obtained a real estate license in 1985 and worked as a real estate agent for about 5 years.
Debbie attended Le Cordon Bleu California School of Culinary Arts in Pasadena and graduated as a pastry chef in November 2006. She developed a Cottage Industry business “A Sweet Course” and produced many fine desserts, beautifully decorated cakes, cookies, and other delicious confections.
Hobbies: shopping for home décor, cooking, baking, gardening, floral arranging, watercolor painting, drawing, paper crafts and traveling.
Debbie is preceded in death by her father Elmer Allen Gregory, her mother Dorothy Jean (Dupuy) Bryan, and brother Carroll Allen Gregory.
Debbie is survived by her husband Earl Walker, daughter Kimberly Cronauer, son Timothy (Kelley) Loungway, sister Dorothy Burdette, brother Donald (Cheryl) Gregory, grandsons Ian and Elijah Loungway, stepchildren: Adam (Donna) Walker, April (Stan) Orellena, Tami (Peter) Alamillo, Drew (Amanda) Voss, and Michael Cardoza.
The family of Debbie wishes to extend their sincere thanks to her doctors, surgeons, nurses, and all medical personnel that tended to her care: USC Arcadia Hospital (Oncology Dept.), San Dimas Community Hospital and especially the Calstro Hospice team: Gina McFadden, RN in charge of Debbie’s care with skill, professionalism and compassion up until the end; visiting nurses: Andi, Aryln, Erik and Lily; Teresa Fonseca, CNA who tended to Debbie’s personal needs with such an attentive and caring spirit; Danielle, Social worker assigned to Debbie; and to Dr. Marina Manvelyan who took the time to thoroughly explain things, difficult things.
A private internment service will be at Riverside National Memorial Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA 92518, Roy Hart of One & All Church, officiating.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 1p.m., Friday, February 23, 2024, at One & All Church, 7576 Etiwanda Ave., Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739, Dane Johnson, officiating. Reception immediately following the service.
