She was born in Los Angeles, her family moved to Pasadena where she
And her brother were raised. She attended Pasadena schools, PCC,
And transferred to UCLA where she received her bachelor’s degree.
Doris Ann Married Harold Walters in a Valentine’s Day wedding
And were married 40 years when Harold passed away.
Doris Ann was a Kindergarten Teacher in the El Monte school district and
Received many acknowledgements and achievements during her career.
Always an active person, she belonged to many organizations including the
Monrovia tennis club, PEO, and Monrovia Guild of Children’s Hospital.
Doris Ann had a love for animals, but her favorite were her cats,
Which gave her much joy and comfort. Doris Ann will be missed by all the
Lives she touched. She is survived by her nephew, Jay Robbins of Nevada, loved ones, friends
and neighbors. There will be a Graveside service on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 10:00am at
Turner & Stevens Live Oak Memorial Park, Monrovia, CA. In lieu of flowers, please donate to
