Eddie Lee Gilmore was born on February 28, 1960 in Apopka, Florida to the proud parents of Milton Gilmore and Mollie May Gilmore Richardson. Eddie was a man of God and accepted Christ into his life at an early age. He enjoyed going to church with his family on a normal basis.

As a child Eddie attended elementary school in Apopka, where he and the family lived. As he got older the family migrated to Maryland, where he later graduated from high school (North Dorchester). Right after high school, Eddie took on a job at Conact Poulpry Plant, then became a proud parent of a beautiful baby girl Chimere Gilmore.

In the Early 80’s, Eddie moved to California where he resided with his favorite cousin “Frankie”, it was there where he met Delores Cameron. The relationship resulted in two beautiful children Elisse Gilmore and Eddie Gilmore JR.

As time went on, Eddie met his longtime girlfriend Mary (Sally) Youngblood. The two were inseparable as they continued their love for one another in Monrovia, California.

Over the span of his life, Eddie enjoyed time with his family and friends. A known fact about Eddie One of Eddie’s favorite phrases was “Without a doubt”. He would say it with Finesse and twirling of the tongue.

Don’t think of him as gone away his journey just begun life holds so many facets this earth is only one just think of him as resting from the Sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away and think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched..For nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much!
Rest In Peace Uncle Eddie ( Eddie Kane) Of the 5 Heartbeats as I would call him.
