Dearest Friend Elaine Weaver Bateman will be in my heart and thoughts Forever.  We laughed and painted together through South Pasadena High School days, at Boulder Colorado  CU Days, and with the Woman Painters of the West in Los Angeles.  Painting remained joyous through the years of raising our Loving Families and when she came up to Carmel we would paint by the Ocean.  She created wonderful ceramic decorations in our paint at Glazes years, along with many laughs.  Elaine always brought smiles to everyone.  She entertained the DG's  at Boulder with her imitations of Ethyl Merman.  She's  a REAL TREASURE and the perfect example of what we should all be as humans. A truly Best Friend.

I will never forget the laughs and fun times we had together at the DG house.

Dearest Dow, Brian, Brad, Jane and all the extended Bateman Family,

When I think of Elaine, I see a wonderful set of smiling eyes, hear her laugh, and know that we are all in the presence of one of the kindest people to ever walk this earth. Having known her and your family my entire life, we feel as if part of our own family has gone, leaving us with a legacy of her joy and sweet nature.

The Beach family send our love to you all and are thinking of Elaine and her creative and beautiful spirit.
