

Frances Louise Weisz left us to be with our Lord May 2, 2014, peacefully in her home in Mandalay Bay, Oxnard with her Husband John of 68 years, at her side. Born Frances Louise Zatzke, January 20, 1924 in Pontiac, Michigan.
Mother of daughters Carol Morgan, Donna Cantor, Sharon Tomasino and Dana delaSota, Grandmother of 9 and Great Grandmother of 14, sister Ruth Eaves Ackerman and brother Frank Zatzke, 6 Nieces and Nephews.
Frances enjoyed her career in the Construction, paving and trucking industries in the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles and Surrounding Area. In 1981, she relocated to Ventura County and continued her career with her husband John with Weisz & Kennedy General Engineering, and Cal Fran Engineering, retiring in 2010.
Frances's passion was her involvement with raising Race Horses with her husband John in Bradbury Estates. She loved being around the horses and was well known amongst the Thoroughbred Community throughout California. She was also a dedicated member of her church, heading and creating many charities benefiting so many.
In her younger days a driven member of the Republican Party amongst many other passions and hobbies like growing and cultivating Orchids and Roses.
Frances's services will be Thursday May 8, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Live Oak Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 E. Duarte Road Monrovia, CA 91016, with a graveside service immediately after. A celebration of her life will be immediately after the graveside at The New Creation of Fellowship Church 308 Alta Vista Street Monrovia, CA 91016
