

Gabriel Michael Acuña was born on December 23, 1975, in Los Angeles, to Patricia Grace Lujan. He was a devoted son, loving brother to Sean and Christopher, cherished grandson to his beloved Grandma Nacha, and a treasured nephew to his Aunt Gloria and Uncle Paulie. He attended Murchison Elementary School and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School, Class of 1994. Where he made lifelong friends who remained an important part of his life.
Above all, Gabriel was a devoted family man. He was a proud father to Cameron Grace, Noelle Anh, and Olivia Marie, and found his greatest joy in watching his daughters grow. He shared a deep loving life with his life long partner, Rocio, and embraced her sons, Ralph and Manny, as his own boys. Whether cheering from the sidelines at sporting events, celebrating milestones, or simply making his family laugh, Gabriel treasured every moment spent with those he loved.
Gabriel dedicated his career to serving others with integrity and determination. He began at Optimist Youth Homes, where he made a meaningful impact on the lives of countless teens and their families through his kindness, patience, and unwavering support. Later worked at Trader Joe's, and ultimately found his professional home at Express Pipe, later Reece Plumbing. Through more than 15 years of hard work and perseverance, he earned the role of Branch Manager, gaining the respect of coworkers, customers, plumbing community and everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.
A lifelong Los Angeles Rams and Dodgers fan, A lifelong sports fan, Gabriel proudly supported the Los Angeles Rams from childhood and was a devoted Dodgers fan, a love he inherited from his grandmother, Nacha. He will be remembered for his generous heart, distinct voice, infectious laughter, playful spirit, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.
Gabriel will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Patricia; his daughters, Cameron, Noelle, and Olivia; his beloved Rocio, his boys Ralph and manny; his brothers, Sean and Chris; his aunt, Gloria; and the many family members and friends whose lives he touched. Gabriel’s life was defined by the people he loved, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
