Heidi was born on June 13, 1940, to Jose Duremdes and Bernabela Dumdumaya in Iloilo, Philippines. She was a strong and devoted Catholic woman whose greatest joy in life was her family.
Heidi found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. Heidi was a devout Catholic who prayed daily. She spent time gardening, tending to the beautiful plants and flowers in her yard. Time spent with family and friends was important to her. She especially loved talking and laughing during long phone calls with family and friends, near and far.
Heidi is the beloved widow of Prospero Parondo 🕇; mother of Rex Parondo 🕇, and Michelle (Parondo) Gaviola; Proud grandmother of Lauren Higa.
Rosary and Viewing will be held on 10/29/26, and A Celebration of Heidi’s Life will be held on 10/30/26, at Turner & Stevens Live Oak Mortuary, 200 E. Duarte Road, in Monrovia, CA.
