Jane Ella Tharp was born in Harrison Arkansas on January 11, 1944. She was preceded by her mother, Stella White; her father, Frank White; her husband, Russell Tharp; granddaughter, Tasha Tharp; and Grandson, Marcus Tharp. She is survived by her son, Mitch Tharp and his wife Kathy of Blue Jay; her daughter, Tonya Mizrahi and husband Ron of La Canada; grandson Brad Tharp and wife, Tosha of Rancho Cucamonga; granddaughter-in-law, Curtney; granddaughter Ashley of La Verne; grandson Nick Mizrahi of Glendale; grandson Anthony Mizrahi of La Canada; great-granddaughter Bella Tharp of Rancho Cucamonga; great-grandson, Jack Tharp of Rancho Cucamonga; great-granddaughter, Tessa of Rancho Cucamonga, great-grandson Fedrix, and great-granddaughter Harper, and other relatives, cousins, and friends.
Russ, Jane, and their two children moved to California in 1964. Jane was the bookkeeper for the three auto part stores they owned. She later was a bookkeeper for a printing company until she retired. Jane enjoyed bowling and played in many bowling leagues where she made many friends. She and Russ were big Angel baseball fans and were dedicated to watching every game they could. She and Russ enjoyed traveling and visited many places. She loved spending time with long time friends Patsy and Dennis, Benny and Shirley, and Sharon and Vern. They often met with friends Don and Linda for long weekends. Russ and Jane spent many anniversaries with long time friends Donna and Al Dixon. Many memories were spent with long time friends Carl and Judy Lightfoot. Many happy memories were also shared with her brother, John and his wife Ruth.
Most important to Jane were the many Christmas Eve gatherings held at their homes in Arcadia and La Verne.
