I spent a month or so at Jean's beautiful home in the summer of 2017.  We were on the same level and I so admired her adventurous spirit. We talked about her German heritage (mine is Swiss) and had a lot of laughs.  She  talked about how dear her mom and grandparents were to her.  She had a very strong faith in God and knew she would be with Him one day.  She went to Him on my birthday  so  I'll have a special thought for her and her beautiful smile every year. God bless you my friend.

Jean was a beloved member of our church, Faith Lutheran Church in San Dimas.  She always had a positive spirit, and was at the ready when volunteers were needed, despite her mobility challenges.  And her devotion to making it to church, not an easy task for her, was wonderful. She will certainly be missed.  She is surely with God in heaven today.
