Joe Rogelio Contreras

Joe Rogelio Contreras, age 89, was born and raised in Arcadia, CA. He leaves his wife of 62 years, Teresa, his children Richard (Margarita), Daniel (Lucia), Lainie Contreras (Steve Jasinski) and his Grandchildren, Jared (Kelsey), Alicia, Matthew Contreras, and Jessica and Samantha Jasinski.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents Apolonio and Antonia Lara Contreras and his two brothers and three sisters.

He graduated from Pasadena City College. He served in the Army from 1953 to 1955.

He started working in the printing industry from a very early age. He worked at the Arcadia Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Pasadena Star News and other California Newspapers. After many years he entered the field of financial and security printing in management positions. He retired in 1997.

Joe was a proud father to his children, a devoted Papa to his grandchildren, and a loving husband.
