Juan Ayala, 74, passed away on October 2, 2026. Born on July 22, 1952, Juan made his home in El Monte, California, where he built a life defined by steadfast devotion to family, determined work, and a spirit that endured through every season. He will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection by all who had the privilege to know him.
Juan was married to Maria Elena Mejia and was a proud father to three daughters: Georgina Aggers, Angelica Ayala, and Jennifer Lebron. In the daily rhythms of family life, he was both a steady presence and a source of warmth—cherished not only for what he provided, but for the love and constancy he gave so freely.
Throughout his life, Juan carried himself with quiet courage and hard-earned wisdom. He came to this country with nothing and, through tireless effort, made a life for his family. Even as he faced many illnesses, he met each challenge with remarkable resilience—continuing to fight, continuing to push through pain, and refusing to let hardship have the final word.
In his quieter moments, Juan found joy in simple, familiar comforts: working on word search puzzles, listening to music, and watching old black-and-white Mexican movies. He also enjoyed sports, especially baseball and soccer (futbol). Alongside his strength, there was room for humor, and those who shared time with him will remember the light he could bring, even when life was demanding.
