Sentimos mucho la partida de nuestra tía Chayo. 
Si no estamos equivocados ella fue la última de los De la Torre Castañeda en ir a descansar con Nuestro Señor. Como coinciden ia también en nuestra familia De la Torre Rodarte mi mama Ma. Elena fue la última de los Rodarte Bracho en llegar al mismo destino en mayo del 2012.
Con estas dos partidas ya toda esa generación nos  está esperando ya en el cielo.
Ahora los de la siguiente generación deberemos poner en práctica todo lo que nos inculcaron y nos enseñaron,
 ojalá y nos decidamos

Even though I am many miles away from the family I still am connected in spirit. I have many fond memories about my childhood and the happy times we always had at her and Uncle Charle's home.  As I grew my Tia Rosario embraced my kids and Julianne spend my happy times in her kitchen as she would let Julie bake cookies under her loving guidance. 

I want to express my sorry at the loss of such a wonderful lady.  Tia you will be greatly missed by your family and friends.  Enjoy dancing on the streets of gold and joining in the heavenly choir praising the Lord. See you someday....and thank you for the love you shared with me and mine.   Lovingly Tessie

I will always remember my dear Aunt Rose. She was a warm and loving woman whose strong Catholic faith was an inspiration to me. She never lost her ability to share stories, laugh and recall our DeLaTorre family history. She also enjoyed meeting and playing with my first grand child Tianna. I know that Aunt Rose is enjoying the love of all her family and friends who welcome her into heaven.

I love the fact that now my Mother can be with me wherever I go and be there to help me in all that I do.  As she grew older she became less mobile and  would have liked to have been able to do more things with Lucy and me, and now she can!  Praise God!
