James O’Balles.
She attended Mona Park Elementary, Roosevelt Middle School and Dominguez High School in
Compton California. She went on to receive her diploma from Paramount Adult School. Mary
Jane “MJ'' was one of a kind as she was our biggest inspiration. In our toughest times our family
would always lean on her as she was the rock that never let us down.
She was a Mother & Grandmother to everyone she encountered and was loved by all.
Though she had many, two of her favorite scriptures were:
Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Joshua 24:15, But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Mary Jane is survived by her children Brighteyes, Ernie, Joanna, Richard.
Grandchildren: Danielle, Robert M, Michelle, Robert, Ariel, Amber.
Great grandchildren: Jonathan, Geovanni, Adrian, Cassidy, Kalia, Emani.
Sisters: Patricia, Josie, Ophelia, Gloria, Yolie, Laura.
Brothers: James and Ricky.
