Family and friends were Nia’s passion and delight. She grew up surrounded by all boys and a strong single parent mother. Nia lived her life to the fullest, she enjoyed wearing her red lipstick and dressing for success even when she had no place to go. She loved the color red because it brought light to every situation. To her family and friends, she was known as “BIG KAHUNA” because she stood tall not only in stature, but in the way she affected those in her life. To know her, was to truly love her
.
Nia attended Blair High School. She was active in the rearing and development of her children as a single parent. She was also active in serving the homeless meals and clothing donations.
Nia loved helping others. She would literally give you her very last to you. She would split the very money in her hand or pocket with you and not look for anything in return. As a child, she was split her ice cream and candy with her brothers and cousins.
.
She loved to cook and enjoyed entertaining. She also loved being one with the kids and giving them the best parties any kid could ask for. She was sometimes outright goofy and comical as it relates to going above and beyond to ensure others were happy.
Nia was truly a blessing to all those who had the pleasure of knowing her and for that reason, she will truly be missed and never forgotten
Nia is survived by her Mother, MaryAnn Davis, her two Brothers Eric Davis Sr, Juan Davis, Sister In-Law, Carmen Davis, Sister, Mary Jenkins, Cousins Robert Rudolph, John Calvin Rudolph & Walter Mckeever who were like brothers to her.
