I just happened to see this.   I studied with Pendekar at the Inosanto academy and at his school.   I remember his sense of humor and for me personally his expression "But of Course".

I am saddened to learn of Pendekar's passing last year. I was blessed to be a student of Bukti Negara and to test for Guru Muda in the mid and late 1990s and early 2000s. I learned so much from Pendekar and all of his teachers and students. What I learned changed my life. I am forever grateful. I had never studied any other martial arts forms. The depth and wisdom of this system became part of my body and being, doing djurus over and over, and helped purify me emotionally and spiritually.  To have Pendekar do a demo and to feel his energy was amazing, the grace and ease in the midst of ferocious movements. It's hard to put into words, but experiencing that energy was profound. My deepest condolences to Pendekar's family and students and my greatest love and thanks.
