Robert Barbosa

Bob was born in Los Angeles County to Sylvia Consuelo Martinez and Ernesto Patricio Barbosa.

He attended school in Pico Rivera, California until his senior year at El Rancho High School, where he left to pursue a career in the printing press industry.

Bob went on his first date with his beautiful wife and soulmate, Doreen Selina Diaz, on June 13, 1979 where they became inseparable. They later married on November 26, 1983. Together they had three daughters, and raised their family in Whittier, California.

Bob had a passion for the arts, including painting, drawing, graphic design, playing guitar, and singing. He was known to his family and friends for having the most beautiful voice. Many also knew him for being very generous, kind and giving. He had a tremendously big heart and loved to support his family and friends whenever he could help.

He is survived by his wife Doreen, daughters Nicole, Jennifer, and Alysanne; sons in-law Jimmy and Ben; grandchildren Jimmy, Jr., Jordan, Lucas, Nehemiah, Reese, and Isiah; his mother Sylvia, and siblings Michael, Sylvia, and Raymond. He rests in heaven with his father Ernie, brothers Ernie and Richard and mother in-law, Susie.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His memory will live in our hearts forever.
