Robert Bruce Phillips, 98 of Arcadia, California, went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2022. Bob was born in Los Angeles, California, November 20, 1923, the son of Bruce Lowe Phillips and Wanda Inez Whitcomb. Bob was married to Mary Ruth Davenport, June 26, 1954. He was in WWII and flew 30 missions out of Great Britain as a radio operator. He worked for Pacific Telephone for 35 years. He was a member of Lake Avenue Congregational Church and Arcadia Presbyterian Church, actively involved in many ministries of the church.
Bob was proceeded in death by his wife Mary Ruth Davenport Phillips. He is survived by his children Peggy Jo Long, Linda Annette Larew and Donald Robert Phillips. He had seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Grave side services were held on Monday, March 28, 2022, at Live Oak Memorial Park in Monrovia.
