Terrance Eugene Goins

June 3, 1955 – June 2, 2023

Terrance Eugene Goins (Thierry) passed away suddenly on June 2, 2023, while traveling to Thailand and Seoul, Korea. Thierry was born and raised in Arcadia California to Walter and Patricia Goins the second oldest of five. Thierry fought a hard battle for 3 ½ years with Melanoma, He never complained once about his pain. Thierry lived life to the fullest he was loved by all he came in contact with. Thierry graduated from Arcadia High school in 1973 and went on to Pasadena City College where he received his AA degree. Thierry decided to work alongside his father in Factory Service TV and then opened his own business, The Sound Factory where he sold high end stereo equipment. Thierry went on to open his own business AVS Repair in West Covina. On August 15,1982 Thierry met Jacque Corcia they became business partners best friends and lifelong partners and spent the last 41 1/2 years together. In 1989 Thierry and Jacque closed AVS And moved to Puerto Rico where they bought Embassy Guesthouse. In 1993, they opened Panache French Restaurant on the beach which became the most popular restaurant in Puerto Rico. In 2001 they purchased Atlantic Beach Hotel, Restaurant and Bar. 2014, they decided to sell everything and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where they resided between Las Vegas and Newport Beach. Thierry was a business entrepreneur and a very smart business man.

Thierry is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Patricia Goins and oldest sister Victoria Reicheun. Thierry is survived and loved by his lifelong partner of 41 1/2 years Jacques Corsia of Las Vegas, sisters Valerie and husband Dr. Donald Del Testa of Fresno, Sandra and husband Bill Duvall of Sierra Madre, Bridgette Goins Zavala of Sierra Madre; his 8 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews; Ashley and Peter DeLuca (Dean, Demi and Dylan); Chelsey and Alexander Leigh (Jace and Jack); Alexis Lewis, Taylor Reicheun; Brittany and Jonathan Hernandez (Ethan and Aubrey); Tristian and Chris Church (Liam and Logan) . Bailey and Connor Killeen; and Bristal Zavala. All of us will be forever grateful for the all the special times and love he shared with all of us. Thierry will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

He will live in all of our hearts always and forever. Services will be held on Wednesday June 21, 2023 at the Chapel of Live Oak Memorial Park and Mortuary Monrovia, CA at 1:00 PM; following with burial. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the Melanoma Research Foundation or the Charity of your choice
