I remember Thomas Leroy Cloer & wife from their having traveled to Jackson, Mississippi,  in 2003 for the Nation-wide Jacob Cloer Reunion at my house.  It was such a pleasure to meet them as descendants of my great, great Uncle Elisha Lane Cloer, Sr. & Jr.  Senior was a brother to my Great Grandfather John Baldwin Cloer, Sr. &  my line is through John Baldwin Cloer, Jr.  I remember, also, that Thomas Leroy & wife, being so close to Vicksburg, wanted to travel there to explore the Civil War sights.  It saddens my heart that I have lost three Cloer cousins in the month of February this year.  Lonnie Cloer in Uncle Sam's line in Texas, Bobbi Cloer of NJ just 34 in Uncle John's line,  who migrated to Florida & now Thomas LeRoy of CA, but whose ancestor, my Great Uncle Elisha Lane Cloer, Jr.,  hailed from Springdale, Arkansas before migrating to CA..  I hate to lose my old contacts & researchers, but God's  eternal peace is a good place  to be at rest.  Cloers are a God-loving clan, so if God's plan is to bring families back together in heaven, Thomas Leroy Cloer is  in a loving comfortable eternal home surrounded by love forever. May  God bless his remaining earthly family & all who read this post.
