Yvonne Berry Baber

On December 14, 1962, Yvonne Berry Baber was born in Arcadia, CA to Vivian and Leon

Everett Berry. Yvonne was one of eight children and the baby girl of the family. Yvonne

grew up in the church and attended Second Baptist Church in Monrovia, CA with her

parents and siblings.

Yvonne attended Maxwell Elementary School, Northview Middle School and Duarte High

School in Duarte, CA. Upon graduation from Duarte High School in 1980, Yvonne became a

nurse to serve individuals who needed help in her local community.

Yvonne met the love of her life Derrick Baber while he was attending Monrovia High

School and she was attending Duarte High School. On September 24, 1993, Yvonne

married Derrick Baber in a small ceremony in Merced, CA.

Yvonne had the personality and natural charisma to host and entertain family, that's why

she was always surrounded by friends and loved ones. She enjoyed shopping, getting her

hair and nails done, listening to her favorite R&B music, playing card games, and enjoying

outings and trips with family. If you know Yvonne, you know she loved Leopard print on

Everything, wearing Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds Perfume and wearing her favorite

boot styles.

Yvonne was a truly great woman whose impact will be forever felt by her family who

loved her dearly. Her ability to sacrifice, provide, support, and love will be forever

engrained in all she knew.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her Husband: Derrick Baber; and Parents: Vivian and Leon

Everett Berry; Sisters: Vivian Marie Berry and Vera Lee Berry; and Brother: LT Berry.

Lancaster, CA; Brothers: Leon "T Lee" Berry of San Bernardino, CA & Russell Berry of San

Bernardino, CA; Brother in Law: Earl Evans Jr. of Merced, CA; Nieces: Miasia Berry of

Colton, CA; Tenaya Berry of Riverbank, CA; Erica Berry of Fresno, CA; Kaela Woods of

Fresno, CA; Zara Anderson of Riverside, CA; Nicole Evans Anderson & Husband Donte

Anderson of Riverside, CA; Katrina Allen of Las Vegas, NV; Ruby Butler of Las Vegas, NV;

Monica Berry of San Bernardino, CA; Sabrina Berry of Delaware; Latisha Berry of

Lancaster, CA; Nephews: Maurice Berry of San Bernardino, CA; Allen Berry Jr. of Modesto,
