Frank V. Altamirano, beloved husband, devoted father, and cherished grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026, at the age of 84.
Born on December 11, 1941, to Lawerance and Renee Altamirano, Frank lived a life defined by dedication to his family, strong faith, and a genuine love for others. He was a steady, loving presence whose warmth touched everyone he met.
Frank is survived by his three loving children, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, all of whom were the pride and joy of his life. He was preceded in death by his children, Gary Altamirano and Teresa Altamirano, and his beloved granddaughter, Candice.
For 34 years, Frank worked in the transportation industry, where he was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and integrity. Outside of his career, he embraced life fully—he enjoyed working out, listening to music, spending meaningful time with his grandchildren, and taking walks with his beloved dog. Frank especially treasured time spent with friends, and he had a gift for making people feel welcome. He was well known for greeting everyone with a warm and heartfelt “Aloha,” a simple expression that reflected his generous spirit and love for connection.
A man of deep Catholic faith, Frank lived with humility, kindness, and gratitude. His faith guided him throughout his life and provided comfort to those who now mourn his passing.
Frank’s legacy is one of love, strength, and devotion to family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched.
