I  really wish we could have more time together and things could have been different. My heart hurts to know that you felt so alone and this is the way you had to leave us but I know that you are now at peace and know longer feel alone. I know you are up in heaven smiling and enjoying all the beauty around you. I promise  to always keep you in my heart and be there for both your daughters and your grandchildren. I will be there to share stories with them about you and make sure they always know how much you loved them. Thank you for being such a great example of what a godparent should be. There has never been a time that I can't remember you not telling me you loved me,  or making me laugh, and seen you smiling and hearing you laugh and seen you happy. I know just like you would in life, you're up in heaven now watching over me. You not just a Nino anymore, now your also also a guardian angel and for that I feel truly blessed. My you rest peacefully now Nino I love you with all my heart and  cherish all of our memories

It has been more than 5 years since I last saw you, spoke to you, touched your hand, hugged you or just sat in your presence. I miss you! I really, really miss you.
