Rosendo D. Savedra Jr., 85, of Pico Rivera, died on Saturday, November 6, 2010. He was born in Los Angeles on July 13, 1925 to Rosendo and Concepcion Savedra. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Manuel D. Savedra and Sister, Victoria Savedra Middleton. He is survived by his wife, Hortencia J. Savedra; Sons, Gilbert, Michael, Anthony and John; Daughters Lorraine and Georgina; 11 grandchilden, 3 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Long Beach Veterans Hospital, CA. Memorial service will be held at 6pm, Tuesday, November 16 at Funeraria Del Angel Montebello. He will be laid to rest with military rights at the Riverside National Cemetery on Wednesday, November 17.
