Stephanie was born in Los Angeles, CA on January 3rd, 1962 to Raul and Elizabeth Perez. She lived in a full, loving household with her five siblings and parents.
Stephanie grew up loving sports, especially softball, reading and writing. She loved animals, especially her pets Tasha, Molly, and last but not least, Sammy. She enjoyed school and outdoor activities. As a teenager she worked for parks and recreation and was always on the go.
When Stephanie was 18 years old, she met Robert Ramirez. They had attended the same high school, but their paths had not yet crossed. Little did Stephanie know, Robert had a long time crush on her. And unbeknownst to them, they would soon step into a beautiful, loving relationship that would last a lifetime.
Stephanie went on to graduate from East LA College with her Associates of Arts Degree. She entered into the Dental industry, always excelling in her professions. After graduations, careers, and life paths set forward, Robert and Stephanie were married March 10th, 1990, surrounded by family and friends.
On January 4th, 1992, Robert and Stephanie welcomed their first daughter Lissette Louise Ramirez. Lissette was born just 1 day after Stephanie’s birthday, and Lissette always loved that her and Stephanie’s birthdays were so close together. Almost 5 years later, November 5th, 1996, they completed their family of four, and welcomed their second daughter, Nathalie Eneida Ramirez, whom they prayed so hard for. Stephanie was so happy to finally welcome her second child and she would always say her daughters were her little miracles. She was always a selfless, strong, supportive, and loving mother.
Stephanie was Robert’s biggest fan, and was so encouraging throughout his career in engineering. She loved to travel with Robert to watch the rockets he designed launch off into space and she was always so proud of him. In the summer of 2007, Robert received a job offer he couldn’t refuse. Him and Stephanie decided to move their family to Denver, Colorado. Robert and Stephanie fully devoted themselves to this new adventure and though it was tough leaving friends and family in California, they sure made Denver feel like a second home.
When it came to homemaking, Stephanie was the best cook, interior decorator, organizer, and always kept the cleanest home. But best of all, she was the best wife and mother to her family. And with the title of Best Wife and Mother, surely Best Grandmother follows. On June 11, 2024 Stephanie’s granddaughter, Sunday Colin Johnson, was born to her daughter Lissette and son-in-law Griffith Johnson. Stephanie was so happy and overjoyed to become a grandmother. Sunday was a preemie and spent her first few months in the NICU and Stephanie would not let a day go by without checking on her, and visiting her every chance she had.
Those who knew Stephanie, knew about her infectious humor. She was silly, funny, and loved a good laugh. One of her favorite sayings when you asked her how’s she been was, “Oh, hanging on like a cat!”
Stephanie was a woman of deep and steadfast prayer. She would say prayer is a natural medicine. Her strong faith in God always made her so positive and strong.
Stephanie was called Home to Heaven on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026. She was her family’s biggest supporter and was so proud of everything her family set out to do. She will forever be remembered and so greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
