Blythe was born October 23, 1991 at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Springfield, MO. Born with Strep B, she worked to deal with the lasting effects of that illness.
Blythe loved the fine arts. She began to take ballet and tap when she was 8. Tracy Maxfield and Jamie Calbert were her first teachers at Premiere Dance Academy where she was a student for 10 years.
Since 2010 she continued to study ballet, tap, jazz, pointe and ballroom with Kathie and Norvin Breeck at Sonshine Dance and Fitness.
Blythe loved Broadway musicals. For her 16th birthday, she enjoyed a trip to New York to see "The Lion King", "Mary Poppins", "Phantom of the Opera" and "Wicked".
On a family trip to the British Isles, she was thrilled to see the Queen's horses grazing at Balmoral. There were many trips to Disney World, too.
Blythe was a proud 2010 graduate of Hollister High School. During her school years she particularly enjoyed the Drama and Art Club and the play productions.
Her parents would like to give special thanks to Dr. Bell and Dr. Lyons for their parts in bringing Blythe into their lives; her physicians, their nurses and support staff who cared for her during her illness - Dr. Mabe, Dr. Artiles, Dr. Brawner, Dr. Natali, Dr. McMurray, and the Hospitalists at Cox Branson; everyone at Cox Branson CCU and respiratory therapy; the Taney County Ambulance District who came when she had emergencies and also helped with appointments; and her Sonshine Dance family. You will not be forgotten.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to Camp Barnabas Camp Scholarship Fund, P O Box 3200, Springfield MO 65808 or to Harless Cemetery Association, 3324 Chartwell Rd., Hoover AL 35226.
